Following my completion of graduate school I was invited to visit Carmel. That did it. I took one look at this wonderful area and decided this is where I wanted to live.

My real estate experience spans a period of 40 years. I have worked all over the peninsula, but now concentrate on Carmel, Pebble Beach and Carmel Valley. My early years saw me working wherever work presented itself. This taught me the towns, streets and roads all over the peninsula which has been a priceless resource.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, I went to work for Cook County Public Aid in Chicago. Next I studied for a Master's Degree in Education. I worked for the Monterey Schools for some years. A family event required me to return to the Midwest to run my parent's supermarket. That made me realize I enjoyed the business world and enjoyed the people I met. A friend of mine suggested I might enjoy the world of real estate so once I sold the market I returned to the peninsula. I began a part time career not being certain it would work out. It took a few years and finishing my Broker's License to get my feet on the ground and get going. There were some very lean years starting out, but finally I was able to make a living. The completion of my Broker's license really seemed to be the one thing that solidified my knowledge of real estate and helped me be more effective for clients. A natural love of cameras, computers, and electronic toys in general has helped. All of these items are of great use in real estate and contribute to a little fun each and every day.

My sales over the years have now exceeded a total of $400,000,000. That tells the story of my success but it doesn't say anything about the wonderful people I have met and the experiences I have had. I have been extremely fortunate in that many of my clients have referred other clients to me and all of this helped my business grow. My natural curiosity and wonderfully network of real estate friends help me keep abreast of the market. The success I have had has enabled me to return the favor the peninsula has done for me by supporting the Community Hospital Foundation, the Carmel Foundation, Santa Catalina School, the Carmel Youth Center and the Salvation Army.

Most of the time I work as a single agent but as times have changed and demands on time have increased, I use partners selectively to help serve my clients more effectively and efficiently. I do my best to return phone calls promptly, present your property professionally and utilize media sources to assist in marketing your home.

At this point in my career, the knowledge I have accumulated of the many properties in Carmel and Pebble Beach has turned in to a fantastic bonus when representing either a buyer or a seller. You can count on me to do the best I can to resolve all of the inevitable issues, big and small that can develop during the process of a transaction. I will do my best to represent you professionally and help you meet your goal.

Please feel free to call me regarding your real estate needs whether you are thinking of buying or thinking of selling. I always appreciate the opportunity to help and will do my best for you.
