Pet Policy
The decision to allow pets at homes lies with the homeowners themselves. In most cases, an additional pet deposit is required. If you plan on bringing your pet on vacation with you, include what kind of dog you have when you fill out a Vacation Rental Request so we can match you with one of our dog-friendly homes.
Rental Zones
ALL HOUSES ARE RENTED A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEK OR ONE MONTH - DEPENDING ON LOCATION.
An ordinance exists in Carmel-by-the-Sea that restricts renting a home in the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea for less than one month.
Carmel County however has no such restriction. Premier Carmel locations like River Beach, Carmel Point, and Carmel Valley are outside the zone and may be rented on a weekly basis. The map below shows Carmel-by-the-Sea and the surrounding area.
Pebble Beach, Carmel Valley, and the rest of the Monterey Peninsula homes are all minimum one week rentals. (Unless restricted by HOA or other restrictions.)
Homes within the highlighted area are in the town of Carmel-by-the-Sea, and rent for no less than one month. Homes located outside of the highlighted zone are generally available for weekly rentals.
ZONE ONE: Carmel-by-the-Sea, Monthly Only
ZONE TWO: Carmel-by-the-Sea, Weekly Rentals
Note: Some home Owner's associations also have their own rental restrictions.
