Vacation Rental Management



Many of our Owners use their home as a second (vacation) home and choose to rent it when they are not using it. This provides maximum flexibility and an income stream - the best of both worlds!

Short-term vacation homes are generally furnished homes, complete with all the necessities of a home-away- from- home enabling guests to simply come with a suitcase and live like a local.

Length of stay can run from weekly rentals (based on location, city, and council ordinances) to monthly rentals for up to twelve months.

Absentee Owners often miss important repair and maintenance issues that, if left unattended, can become very expensive. Carmel Realty can often call the owners' attention to these issues and, with owner approval, work with the best qualified local contractors and sub-contractors, to correct a problem and protect the asset.

  • All Tenant communication and management, legal notifications, and seasonal friendly reminders and any repair/maintenance issues
  • Rent collection, monthly account reconciliation, accounting and disbursement.
  • Year-end tax documentation
  • We handle all security deposits and pet deposits in a secured Broker's Trust Account.
  • Property inspections, seasonal maintenance offerings to protect the asset value of your home.
  • 24 hour maintenance/emergency help line.
  • Custom management services available upon request: bill paying, and contracting service work.
