Carrie received her real estate license in 2005 joining her husband, Chris Baumgart, to become a real estate team who raises the bar on client care. Prior to real estate, Carrie's career included director level positions at Sony Electronics, Xerox Corporation, Safeway Inc, and Lucasfilm Entertainment with expertise in reengineering, strategic planning, project management, and operations. She has found all those professional skills and experiences to be a perfect fit with what it takes to be successful in real estate – being results-oriented, strategic, organized, persuasive, efficient, and a constant learner.
Truly caring that selling or buying a home is a major chapter in her clients' lives, Carrie finds it immensely gratifying to do everything possible to make it an easy and pleasurable experience. Thus, she is a hands-on partner who takes responsibility to manage a wide variety of above and beyond services throughout the real estate transaction and long afterward.
At the heart of Carrie's success, she has built a reputation as someone who can be trusted not only by her clients but by all parties. She is a savvy negotiator and problem solver known for being the calming effect when things get stressful. She pays attention to each client's communication style and customizes the experience ranging from those who like details, analyses, and constant updates to those who just want the big picture and light contact. Carrie is also a master at keeping clients and other agents informed every step of the way while managing the complex details seamlessly.
Carrie grew up in Santa Fe, NM and received a B.S. in Math from Texas Tech University. Living in the Country Club West area and being a member of Monterey Peninsula Country Club as well as The Beach and Tennis Club have provided the opportunity to develop a rich understanding of Pebble Beach. Carrie has served on the MPCC Budget & Finance Committee, as Secretary on the WGA Board, and Chair of the ladies' 9-hole golf program. She also supports the Hospice Giving Foundation.

Carrie is a hands-on partner who takes responsibility to project manage a wide variety of services for her sellers and buyers beyond handling the real estate transaction process.
- Clearing out personal belongings – moving arrangements, estate sale, tax-deductible donations, trash and junk removal
- Gardening – clean-up, spruce-up, and ongoing maintenance during listing
- Staging – declutter and work with owner's furnishing, or get quotes for professional staging and work with owner and stager to maximize appeal in the most cost-effective way
- Repairs – get estimates and coordinate repair work
- Government retrofit requirements – get estimates and coordinate work
- Move-In or Move-Out – personalized checklist for changing over utilities, getting Pebble Beach emblems, starting or canceling other services
