“ The property description is accurate regarding the location, layout, and amenities. It takes about a half hour to walk to the the Post Office on 5th Ave. and about 20 minutes to walk to the town center on Ocean Ave. The all day parking lot on 8th between Mission and San Carlos is helpful. The property was clean and well maintained. Elizabeth at Carmel Realty Company was responsive and provided excellent customer service. I would recommend this property to friends and relatives and had both come visit for short stays during the month of January 2025. Along with Carmel-by-the-Sea, we enjoyed the Monterey Aquarium, Cannery Row, The Barnyard, Pt Lobos, Garrapata, Pfeiffer Big Sur, Pinnacles National Park, Point Sur Light Station, Naval Facility Point Sur, Filoli, Salinas, Castroville, 17 Mile Drive, Pebble Beach Spanish Bay and the bagpiper, Tor House and Hawk Tower, Old Fisherman's Wharf, Monterey Whale Watch tour, Carmel-by-the-Sea guided walking tour with Monica, Morgan Hill, as well as many walks along Scenic Road, the beach, and neighborhood streets surrounding Miramar. All the restaurants are good, no matter which ones you choose. I started my stay with a stop at the Visitor Information Center for Carmel on the 2nd floor of Carmel Plaza. “The house is very lovely, comfortable, and full of natural light, and the location is excellent—just a 3-minute walk to the beach and a 10-minute walk to Ocean Av. I think the kitchenware could be improved, as the dishes look old and scratched, and the glasses do as well. A small frying pan is also needed. Other than that, everything was wonderful.
