Carmel Realty Company celebrates 100 years in 2013! With such a special anniversary, we've dedicated some time to learning about Carmel-by-the-Sea and how history impacts us today.
- Carmel Realty Company was here before there was a Carmel! The city of Carmel-by-the-Sea was incorporated in 1916.
- Our mailing address, P.O. Box Drawer C, appears in ads dating back to the 1920s
- The Pine Cone has been printing since 1915. All past editions are available through the library on microfilm.
- Carmel's Harrison Memorial Library has a local history department with staff on-hand to provide assistance. Here's a glimpse of what we found with their help:
